DESCRIPTION

This Trunk Piston Engine Oil (TPEO) for marine applications, based on top quality mineral base oils and outstanding additives (validated by OEMs), is able to:

• neutralize acids to prevent corrosive wear
• handle contaminations (like asphaltene), prevent deposit formation and control sludge by keeping contaminants suspended
• resist thermal and oxidative stress
• handle contamination with water
• provide sufficient load carrying capacity to protect engine parts under high load.

APPLICATION

This TPEO is a recirculating lubricant used to lubricate medium-speed 4-stoke trunk piston engines, in propulsion engines, auxiliary engines and in power generation. Suitable for the latest and older engine types, of the Major OEMs and others. Recommended for engines operating on distillate fuel, heavy fuel oil (HFO) or in LNG/HFO dual fuel mode.
