CHARACTERISTICS

BAYRO GEAR OIL 85W-140 is made from selected base oils with a matching combination of additives to prevent tooth flank damage. The EP additives contained in the gear oil form a load-bearing layer of lubricant on the tooth flanks, which prevents scuffing even under the highest mechanical loads and significantly reduces abrasion. The gear oil is very resistant to aging even under high thermal stress. The good cold flow properties are due to the high degree of refinement of the base oil and the flow improvers it contains. The gear oil contains suitable active ingredients to suppress foam formation and the wetted machine parts are protected against corrosive effects.

BAYRO GEAR OIL 85W-140 is compatible with the usual sealing materials.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

BAYRO GEAR OIL 85W-140 is primarily used in highly stressed drive axles with hypoid gearing in commercial vehicles.
